AI = fucking magic. It’s a black box. Do you know how it works? I’m a professional design technologist — I barely understand it. That lack of understanding clearly doesn’t stop capital. Let’s role play exactly how we got here:

"Did you see [insert AI company]'s latest valuation? $157 billion!"

"How much revenue?"

"They're burning $10 million a day."

"Yeah but it's AI. How do I get in?"

"Cap table's full."

"Fine. What else is there?"

And that's how we got here. It's the Family Guy boat paradox playing out: You can have an actual business, or the mystery box that could contain anything—even an actual business. Everyone's choosing the box.
