Cole was adopted!

Over the past year, we’ve been fostering dogs through the Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue. It’s one of those quiet joys.
Cole, a 10-week-old Black Lab and German Shepherd mix, stayed with us recently. Full of energy, curiosity, and a kind of clumsy charm that only a puppy can pull off, he was an absolute delight. We couldn’t resist snapping a few photos.
The best part? A wonderful family from Oxnard adopted him. They have a five-year-old Black Lab waiting at home, ready for wrestling matches. We’ll miss Cole, but we’re thrilled he’s found his forever home.
