We took a lovely trip to La Quinta, California, in late December 2020. Good weather, great views, and a pool served as an escape from locked down Los Angeles.

A small, nearly pink, cloud marched across the sky.

A velvet blanket slowly cascades.

The moon showed up a few hours later.
