Prospective Feature Illustrations & Animations

Visually communicating complicated software stacks to an intended user is tricky business - you need a visual metaphor or motif that is easily digestible and can tell many stories.

We decided to depict the software as a cube to communicate the unique features of Prospective, a powerful data visualization tool in the browser. A simple shape that most can comprehend, but through context and simple animation, we can tell a more complicated story. It's a telling sign of good design when the story you're describing is cumbersome, but the visuals easily handle the storytelling.
